Musical Transcriptions performed on a Moog Modular Synthesizer. Baroque and Classical pieces played on Moog Modular synth and other electronic instrumentation. All pieces are peformed and realised by myself in my small studio. Each piece takes many hours to complete and is similar to a painting in oils. You start with a sketch or two and begin to add colour and then add more layers of colour or sound. Some pieces adapt very well to synthersizer transcription while others can be virtualy impossible to complete with any satisfaction. What can seem to be an excellent choice for transcribing can turn out to be a total failure. Failure rate is quite high as one does not know how the piece will sound until well into creation by whch time a considerable amount of time has been expended.
